Paginal mode when running stored procedures

Is it possible to for paginal mode to be on by default when running a stored procedure? I have it enabled via Tools...Options...Data Editor...General...Use paginal mode by default and this works for standard queries but when I execute a stored procedure returning data it defaults to paginal mode off. If the SP returns a large amount of data this causes the whole application to hang and I am frequently having to kill and restart it.
